3 News NZ has an article about the PledgeMe page set up to raise money for a trip for Nela Zisser to compete in the 2015 Nathan’s finals, an event she has not qualified for. The former Miss Earth New Zealand has agreed to compete in the 2016 Wing Bowl, which might prevent her from competing in Major League Eating competitions since the Wing Bowl is an independent contest.
